It’s been a while since I did this and it’s about due. Below are sites that I feel offer value to traders. Some are free, some are commercial sites, some a mixture of both. But in all cases, they deliver value.
FREE SITES (or Combined)
- Dr Brett Steenbarger’s Blog: http://traderfeed.blogspot.com/. This is a great site - fab content, clear presentation of ideas. His new book, “The Daily Trading Coach” is a must read-buy.
- John Mauldin’s Site: well not so much of a site as a newsletter. He often has an interesting and novel viewpoint. http://www.investorsinsight.com/blogs/john_mauldins_outside_the_box/
- Rob Hanna’s Blog: a quant site that is well written and well researched. I have obtained some great and profitable trading ideas.

COMMERCIAL SITES
- Denise Shull’s site, Trader Psyche, http://www.traderpsyches.com/. She has a sort of a newsletter. But the best value from her site is the ‘Access Your Psychological Capital Workshop’ currently available. The early bird price is US$1495 and worth every penny.
- Jim Kane’s site offering a package deal on his books and great articles is worth a visit. Jim has novel slants on the subjects on which he writes. http://www.kanetrading.com/.
- Alexander Tzavaras: Trade With Pride. At US$6000, it may seem a bit pricey. BUT you are getting 8 weeks and 3 days per week x 2 hours per session, you get more education than with most educators. Compare this with an ad I received for a 4-day seminar priced at US$9,500.00. Moreover the material presented is robust and would improve any trader’s bottom line.
- Jason Goepert’s Sentiment Trader. Another quant site - tends to lean to the buy side. Nevertheless he has very interesting research. http://www.sentimentrader.com/
Usual Disclaimer: I don’t receive a brass penny for the recommendations made here. I have read the books, taken the courses and I am a subscriber to the services recommended. So, I am speaking from personal experience when I say that I have found the commercial offerings to be of excellent value.
